Halu Oleo University houses a total of 27 research and study centers, each with a unique focus. These centers include the Center for Environmental, Geological, Energy, and Mineral Resources Research (PPLH-KESDM), the Center for Gender and Child Empowerment Research, the Center for Smart Consumption Research and Development, the Education Research Center, the Center for Scientific Journal Clinic and Intellectual Property Rights, the Disaster Mitigation and Response Center, the Remote Sensing Research and Development Center, the Dryland Agriculture and Food Resources Research Center, the Health Research and Development Center, the Bajo Research and Empowerment Center, the Cultural Tourism and Creative Economy Research Center, the Natural Resources and Biotechnology Research and Development Center, the Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Law Research Center, the Research Centre for Socio-Economic and Population Studies in OFLD (Outermost, Frontier, and Least Developed) Regions, the Technology Research, Development, and Transfer Center, the Transportation and Regional Research Center, the Sulawesi Tropical Forest Research Center, the Marine Fisheries and Small Islands Research and Development Center, the European and African Studies Center, the American, Asian, and Oceanic Studies Center, the ASEAN Studies Center, the National Resilience Studies Center, the Public Policy Studies Center, the Halal Product Certification and Studies Center, the Center for Biodiversity and Germplasm Studies in Sulawesi, the History and Archaeology Studies Center, and the Seaweed Excellence Center. These centers collectively support the Research and Community Service Institution in fulfilling its mission and functions.
